Ko Bragg, 23, is co-producing this film as her master's project for Columbia Journalism School. She is a 2015 graduate of Spelman College, where she majored in U.S./African-American history. She revived Spelman's newspaper, The BluePrint, as the first editor-in-chief of the rebranded publication. Most recently, she was a writing intern at NBCBLK. Previously, she was an editor at Blavity Life.
In the fall, she will pursue a dual-degree in journalism at Sciences Po in Paris, France, where she will also intern for WAN-IFRA, the World Association of News Editors and News Publishers. She is passionate about reporting on African Americans as well as social justice.

Murat Bilgincan, 29, is co-producing this film as his master's project for Columbia Journalism School. He is a 2008 graduate of Yale University, where he majored in economics and shot short films. After graduation, Murat travelled the world, volunteered at an orphanage in Kenya, blogged about current affairs, and worked at CNN Turk in his hometown of Istanbul.
As a documentary reporter, he prepared 45-minute documentaries on the Ukraine Crisis and the Turkish defense industry. He later moved to the newsroom, where he covered the first Turkish presidential election and the war in Kobani as an on-air reporter. At Columbia, he has focused on Muslim communities.
Murat currently works at Fareed Zakaria GPS, CNN’s flagship international affairs show.
